You will miss a session. Work runs late, you get sick, life happens exactly as often as it happens to everyone else. One missed day changes nothing measurable about your physique — the math simply doesn’t care about a single skipped Tuesday.

What actually matters is what you do the day after. Missing one day is an event. Missing two in a row is the first data point in a new pattern, and patterns are what your results are actually built from. So the rule I use is simple: one zero, no guilt, no story about it. Two zeroes back to back, and I treat the very next session as non-negotiable, full stop, because that’s the moment a bad week either ends or starts becoming a bad year.
